Special Hazards
Certain industries require special attention for fire protection. A few examples of these areas are:

- Medical – Record Storage, MRI or CAT Scan Control Rooms

These particular areas contain critical information and cannot afford the time loss that a fire can cause. We can provide waterless fire protection to protect these extremely sensitive areas. By using a gaseous agent, either DuPont™FM-200® or 3M™ Novec™ 1230, we can help you avoid equipment loss and productivity downtime. The Amerex CPS Fire Suppression System will afford you the peace of mind that you are protected.
Marine Industry
At IFS Fire & Safety Inc., we provide service to those who can rarely find it elsewhere. The marine industry is a breed of its own and requires special attention during inspections and servicing. We can provide service on most CO2 and clean agent fire suppression systems from manufacturers such as Kidde, Ansul, Chemtron, Fireboy and Seafire. All systems are inspected and tested to meet USCG requirements. Upon completion, an inspection report will be provided to the vessel for record keeping documentation.
Restaurants
The majority of restaurant fires occur in the kitchen. Having a properly designed wet chemical system for you kitchen hood, plenum, duct and appliances is a must. Our technicians will evaluate your equipment and make sure that proper coverage is in place. For new facilities or those requiring an update, the Amerex KP or ZD Wet Chemical Fire Suppression Systems will be added insurance to protect your assets if a fire should occur.
Industrial, Paint Booth and Vehicle Systems
Whether you have a paint spray booth, heavy equipment, small busses or metropolitan type busses that needs fire protection, we have you covered. The Amerex IS or Amerex VFSS systems will provide the dry powder fire protection you need. If you have existing systems, we can make sure that are providing the coverage you need.
Hydrostatic Testing
Along with the other services we provide, we can also hydrotest low pressure and high pressure DOT specification cylinders. From small medical oxygen cylinder to 100 pound CO2 cylinders, we are your one stop shop!
